Best Marker Comp

I know it is cheesy! It's supposed to be though. I think this is my best marker comp because I even had it before the due day. I also paid more attention to the use of markers and tried to mix the colors. Also, who wouldn't agree that miss yellow bird is my best marker comp!?

10 Exercises

I don't think all of these exercises are perfect, however, I think they are good and I enjoyed the process of each one of them.  I think I tried different things in every one and I liked the results. "La practica hace al maestro" translation? : "practice makes the teacher" does it make sense? anyway, I believe that to be true... I still have to do a lot of practice but I think these exercises show a pretty good progress after many tries and frustrations!

FOUR FORMAL PROJECTS

From the eight formal projects we did, I considered these four a good example of my improvement in this field. On each one of these four projects I did certain things that got me excited about what I was doing and I definitely think that they turned out better than other attempts.

Cheesy Airbrush

This is a cheesy cartoon I created. I used the airbrush and I think it didn't turn out too bad. I could've added some line work for more definition, but I didn't think about it... too bad!

Album Cover / Ricardo Arjona

Album, cd and itunes cover for guatemalan singer Ricardo Arjona. The illustration was made in watercolor and it is a scene of one of the oldest cities in Guatemala. The album's name is "un tributo a mi pais" (a tribute to my country).
